Ever since I was 7 years old I wanted a BIG Starship Enterprise. After learning advanced construction techniques building high power rockets, I set out on a year long quest to build the ultimate Star Trek the Motion Picture version of the Enterprise. This is the Refit "A" version introduced in Star Trek 4. This is not a kit. It was scratch built, mostly from wood and features the same pearlescent Aztec paint patterns as the 8 foot original painted by Paul Olsen in 1979. Paul and the rest of the original Magicam team has plans to rebuild the iconic Motion Picture Enterprise and you can help. Visit the link below. NCC 1701 Rebuild Project Click on the thumbnail to find out more about the construction and specifications of the model. |
