In each case the fees were set based on the market. A good rule of thumb is that I usually let non-profit or educational organizations use the photos for a very small fee. (The prints may be used by astronomy clubs for meetings and presentations at no charge). However, advertising firms and art layout firms usually pay several hundred dollars when working with large clients. So, the bottom line is, if you would like to use any of the images, please tell me the market you are targeting.
